ya i felt the same with the gun/ i wanted to play with the dual pistolesI don't like Nero's guns, I prefer Dante's dual pistols, feels faster and more of a shoot em' up style though I love Nero's glove, it's just dead useful. After playing the demo a bit, I might consider buying it, but the only thing that sparked my interest was the boss fight which was beautiful to watch and play. Load times weren't an issue, quick and easy, didn't feel like the game was loading at all.
However $60 bucks is a lot to spend just based on a demo, I hope the game provides a lengthy amount of gameplay.

i thought it was ok. but then when i used the god hand on the fire boss. picked him up and slamed his fface in the ground/ it just felt bad *** besides dont judge the game on the demo. wasnt this the same demo e3 06?iamshivy
Exactly, this demo is roughly a year old. Imagine how polished and how smooth the gameplay will be once it hits shelves Feb. 5, and keep in mind this demo owned considering it was last year.

Where's the source that it's a year old? It says in the demo that it's a "2008 trial version" and I have yet to see it stated anywhere that it's an old build. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but don't get people's hopes up without cause if that's the case.

I should've clarified, sorry. This demo was released at Leipzig 07, so they had the demo available around July 07, if I'm not mistaken. Still, it's not a year old per se, but I still think the demo won't do the game justice, 5 months is plenty of time to polish and debug. :)
[QUOTE="JudgementEden"][QUOTE="majadamus"][QUOTE="CronoDL"]The problem I have with it is that it's just like the other DMC games in terms of gameplay. It doesn't even feel any different. For those who don't mind spending $60 on gameplay that's been done last generation, no problem. But I definitely won't buy it because it just doesn't feel like anything new or exciting.CronoDL
Could you recommend me some new and exciting games this generation? I seem to be having a hard time finding them.
Really, users on here can be so stupid. Quit complaining over trivial things. Do you want DMC to change for the worse? Its perfectly fine the way it is. And im pretty sure the DB is something new and exciting. Im getting sick and tired of people moaning and groaning about how Capcom makes DMC. Because EVERYONE who does has a very retarded excuse for doing so.
Right, and people are stupid for having opinions? What about people like you calling others stupid? What do you call that?
Give me a break. DMC4 barely seems to be any different than DMC3. And the DMC games have never been great to begin with, just the same old combo oriented repetitiveness. This series is no different than most series where developers just churn out the same old and slap a new title on it. There is zero innovation.
I dont really care what you think. Its a stupid opinion, simple as that. Everyone keeps throwing around that word to shield themselves from people who find them using no logic. If you would have just said YOU didnt like it instead of trying to convince everyone here that the series is not good at all then maybe i wouldnt seem like an ass.
You say that DMC4 is the same thing as the other three games. Yet i bet anything that a franchise you hold dear does the same thing. please, give me a break and spare me from your whining.
Well, I just played it and it's awesome, although I must say not DMC3 awesome, certainly in terms of difficulty, it became a bit easier. It's a bit slower but Nero is imo better than Dante, well, his devil bringer arm is better, it really comes in handy in battle.
But now for the demo itself, there are two stages, one where you fight 3 ice monsters and then Berial (that red flaming big-ass monster in all those trailers) and that's just cool, the other one is just basic, no hard fights, no boss-fight but still pretty nice for a demo, BUT this one has a time limit, you can only play this part for 10 minutes and then it's over, and that's just dull.
Well I'm still buying DMC4 after this, it's good, awesome for a demo so I still have high hopes that DMC4 will rock although some of you claim it sucks.

I'm with you on that one. Devil May Cry 4 has been one of the many games I've been anticipating for the PS3 since I got it. I totally loved the demo and can't wait until the full game is released on Feb. 5th.
[QUOTE="steve4200"]good game but Ninja Gaiden Sigma is better

Yup. Really sucks that we dont get NG2. I would gladly trade DMC4 and GOW3 for that game.
