Exactly. If it goes multiplatform, they make more money. If they make more money, they've got more of a budget for future games and don't end up like Majesco making nothing but cooking and baking simulators. Think before you write up a petition, people.

this is online, it's not like people are going over to the capcom building and protest or anything, capcom don't care if it's a online position, this will a die a slow silent death. i'm boycotting by not buying any dmc games anymore, i'm sure some will do the same, if everybody else buy except for me, atleast i'm doing atleast something. i'm just gona buy re5 from capcom and anything else that's good except for dmcddldave

People seem to think companies can swallow the massive expenses that a game produces without going multi-platform. If a console maker makes them an offer that makes it worth their while --- and few will be willing to do that without outright OWNING the publisher --- they won't make many exclusives.

I've gotta be honest, I already signed this thing. Some of you may view this to be somewhat of a sign of hope to us hoping Capcom will "notice" our absolute outrage. It is likely, however, it, as most "online petitions" will die a silent death and Capcom will never realize it and will be completely content to sell several million additional copies over the Xbox 360.

Still, I'm absolutely done with Capcom. Let the sales figures push them if nothing else will. 2 exclusives for none, and one multiplat for our single exclusive. Upsetting. But add that to a business philosophy that makes the troubling assumption that Clover was a bad development studio and should be chastised for caring more about artistic vision than sales numbers, and I am ready to "boycott" any and all Capcom products until they prove to me they can offer me a satisfying gaming experience that transcends this typical "shooter" garbage and change their philosophy towards something gamers can accept.

 

Basically, if money is the only thing they see, make an impact where it will hurt them...sales figures. Go ahead, join the boycott. It's clearly the only way they will ever listen.

Uh...you guys suck. Who the hell cares if the game is on more than one system? If Capcom said "Screw the PS3, let's make DMC4 an Xbox360 exclusive!", then you could complain. We're still getting the game and it's not going to be any less of a game just because it went multiplatform. Do you really think this "boycott" is going to do anything? All it will do is give me the convenience of not having to preorder DMC4 because there will be plenty of copies left when it comes out. Then when your rational gamer friends are talking about how awesome DMC4 is, you'll try to bash it even though inside you feel left out and jealous because you're an idiot for not buying it. Let it go people...please. Why can't we just be happy that we're sharing such an awesome game with other people? If Metal Gear Solid 4 went multiplatform, I'd be happy for the 360 people. I'd laugh at them because their version is dumbed down and like 9 discs but, I'd still be happy that they got to experience such a great game.

I am sick of you lemmings. Not to say I would sign the partition cause I for one know they are useless and childish, also I might get the game as of thinking the first and third were great. However that doesn't mean that complaining about losing an exclusive game is a bad thing either.

I would also like to point out that I hope that DMC4 is crap, so that I can turn away from Capcom and their lies and greed completely, the DMC series was the last one I was remotely interested in. But now that they even admitted to being a low life, money hungry, caring about quantity not quality for the consumer type of company makes me have one thing to say "Capcom you and the Xbox 360 fanboys deserve each other." .

I'm disappointed with Capcom too and as a Sony fan, I would not want to buy their games but as a gamer I have to say that they make good games. DMC is a good series and I'm pretty sure I'll still be picking it up when it comes out. The game I really have to play is RE5, after RE4, the Resident Evil series was given new life. I say just get over the disappointment and play the good games.

The way some of ya'll act would have anyone thinking you work with Sony. Get over it seriously, you still get the game. Why are you so mad? Is it really that big of a deal? Like I said, your still going to be able to play it on the PS3. I'm not a Microsoft nor Sony fanboy. They are both great systems IMO. I'm just giving my two cents cause it's kind of pathetic the way some people act. I can understand if you're disappointed but anything beyond that is crazy.

Gaming is a multi-million market and it's only increasing into higher standards.

What most people seem to forget is that games are for fun, that's why Nintendo remains a king and always will be.

As for Devil My Cry 4. Anyone who is a fan of DMC, should pick it up. Systems don't matter, money is what matters to every company that creates games.

As long as the games are coming to our system and are in good shape, I really don't care how many other consoles have it.

Multi-plats are developed primarily focused on a "commonality" architecture to minimize work and maximize compatibility. What kind of games do you think we'd get if the Wii is included in the mix? I chose none-at-all over half-assism.

truthfully...with the way developers have been treating the ps3 (minus the god company insomniac games( hail insomniac!!)) i can see why they all signed it, itll probably end up with dmc4 being better on the 360 once morelinkin_guy109

My brother just picked up AC and I was saddened to see tha game suffer from sharing aspects with the 360 build. The game is visually beautiful but the audio is borderline terrible. At the very least it's not proportioned well with the rest of the game. When considering Blu-ray and all it offers for audio and hearing what was offered in AC truly is disappointing.
