when i first got MGS4 i was thinking it not going to be good because it's my first Metal gear game. but after all it's now my best game i have ever played ..{i download the database to get the story}.. so did anyone had the same thing?
Yeah I enjoyed it very much. I bought the first three after i beat it and I am still on the first one. i didn't feel like reading that whole database thing.

the database is boring but it make the game better if you dont know the story from the beginning
i went out and bought the anthology for the PS2 (i have a 60GB PS3 so BC for the win!) and admittedly struggled through MGS until i started remore playing it on my PSP. MGS 2 and 3 we're a bit easier to play, they're just a bit dated and getting used to the controls was a pain. i didn't need them to play MGS4, but i think i did apreciate it more.
