DMC4 Game Save Error...[READ+HELP!]

I had to send off my ps3 to sony, so I saved the data on my Sandisk.(Thought that would of done it or I'd of backed up my data.

Anyways it loaded like it should then when It loaded, it poped up and said something like this

"This game save cannot be used by another user for networking data" Or something you get my point though, yeah?

So I was wondering is there another way around this so I can use this data... I mean it is mine...

not sure if this is the right section to of post this..

Did you just copy the data and "paste" it onto the device, or did you use the Sony Backup Device?

I just copy & "paste" I didn't know that this save data was protected or I'd of backed it up with the back up system...

Yea, there is security embedded into the save files that prevents the transfers of saves from one PS3 to the another. You bypass this by using the backup tool on the PS3 that passes the security information to the external device. So in a nutshell saves are bound to your particular PS3, the copy and paste method only works with images, music, etc, because these are not tied to the PS3 security.
