lol doubt it, i never got a PS2 slim cause i already had a normal PS2 that worked fine. If my PS3 breaks, well hell yeah ill get another one, or if it gets stolen or somthing.
Very likely. My kid already wants one. (Kids are not allowed to play in Daddy's theater unsupervised) So I will likely get them one for their birthday or Xmas this year.
And price is not an option. I bought my PS2 for $750 cdn when it came out as I wanted one day one and had no pre-order available. And I owned 3 PS2's, one for me, one for my kids, and one for my van (slim line). So it is not unheard of around here.
yea i give it about 2 years before the launch/early system start havein problems at which case ill have to go buy a new one, hopefully that wont happen tho, but either way broken or not, at some point, be it a smaller model a different color a bigger intial hard drive ill be buyin a new one when its down around the $200-$250 mark

Yeah, this would be the only reason. I never got the slim PS2, simply because mine was fine..
yeah same with me i neer bought an updated system becease the originial lasted me for a very long time.My PS2 was droped my Ignorant cousins 4 times from heights of 4' to 5' and never broke down,My PS1 never a problem,so i guess I have to come to the conclusion that SONY game systems are built like elephants.
