Do we really want Kingdom Hearts 3?

Honestly, would you?

If you think about it, good game series would have a stellar original, a sequel and maybe a couple spin-offs.

In this case, KH (PS2), KH2 (PS2), KH: COM (GBA/PS2), KH: 358/2 Days (DS), KH: BBS (PSP).

If a game series goes on too long then people get sick of it and it ends up failing.

It's much better finishing a game series with a blast and not have it drag on forever.

Kingdom Hearts 2 finished the story with Sora destroying darkness, yet everyone cries for Kingdom Hearts 3?

What would it really be about? I believe in trilogies, but I don't believe in sequels that aren't needed.

Basically what I'm getting at is... What's your opinion on this?

the second one wouldve had a sense of closure had it not been for the note they find at the end from mickey so now they have to have a 3rd one and with technology now im sure they could end it in a very epic way since the ps3 can have much more on screen you could fight an army of heartless similar to kh2 but it would be much better

KH2 didn't really finish the game... I don't remember it too well (need to replay that and the original KH really soon..) but I do remember that I was left unsatisfied, wanting more, and with a bunch of unanswered questions. So yes, there will be a KH3, and yes, I do want it. I'm excited to see a KH on next gen consoles. It should look amazing. bluem00se

No one of us can say there will be a third game, but if there is I don't want it to stretch the story that ended in the second game.

Really, i want a KH3 but chances are there aint gonna be 1. It would make more sense not 2 make it, but KH2 kindof does end on that cliffhanger on king mickeys letter?? The secret ending is just birth by sleep so yeah.. If they do make KH3 for lyk ps3 it would be great in my opinion because of the blu ray disc capacity and 1080p.. I want 1 but wont expect 1

Of course I would like to see Kingdom Hearts 3 and many more sequels and prequels! If you have a problem with the story getting out of hands then you must have a lack of imagination!

for the people saying kh3 would have a sponanously though up story well im afraid thats not true think about how long it has been since the release of kh2 and there is still not even confermation that they are making kh3 so if they are making a kh3 then chances are they would of started working on it and coming up with ideas right after the release of kh2 if so they have had years and years to be thinking of ideas and what not so if kh3 does come out the story will not be rushed or sponanous or forced at all

I don't want a Kindom Hearts 3 that follows the exact same story line, but I do think it would be great if they made a more mature game out of it, using what they can. The disney characters were great, but I hope for a new story with new characters and all. So,I guess what I am saying is I want a game related to Kingdom Hearts, but not a prequel or sequal etc. Sorry if I'm not making much sense.

Well, we have BBS that might lead to surprise discovery that might unfold in the future. Also the letter that Kairi gave to Sora seemed important, not to mention it was from the King. I say bring in KH3, there are still alot of questions, and event that can still possibly happen. I'm also a fan of the series too.

i would want a KH3 only if they made the story line more cohesive. I was a huge fan of the first, but never played the gameboy games or spinoffs or w/e. So when i picked up two it was so confusing. the story got so complicated and tried really hard to sound "profound" but it was just so dumb. Like all the lines sbout darkness in the heart and the nobodies . KH3 should keep it simple like the first, then it would be a killer game

i don't thinkg there are too many of these games, it's a fantastic franchise that's still healthy in my opinion.

I loved playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and look at the MGS series, Kingdom Hearts no even close to that one so I say yeah let's have another KH3 game.
