i buy new games. Only my Resistance was used because I was on a budget when i was purchasing my ps3.
if you buy a used game you are paying money to the retailer and not supporting the developer, I get new games only!PS2Hawk
Will admit that I agree with your statement. That is why I was curious about how many people buy new games vs used games like Gamestop. Yet large companies such as EB or gamestop is legal. In many ways, I like the company that is in our city that sells used games. Many games to choose from. Will admit that about 70% of my games are used. Blu-ray don't seem to scratch that easy compared to dvd.
For me, it depends on the price difference. If a used copy is only $7 cheaper, I will go for the new copy to support the devolpers. But it can be hard for deals like 'buy 2 get on free'. About trading my games in, I don't. I try to trade with a friend. Hate to say it, but these large companies rip people off. Not trying to gather a rally to boycott, but it's common sense.
After reading some of the post, I am thinking about spending an extra $7 or so to support the game market. And like what many have said, it's guanteed to be in mint condition.
