Do you have the PS4 camera?

I'm thinking about buying the camera, but I don't want it to regret it a few days later like I did with the Kinect. If you have one would you recommend it?

I don't have one but I'd like one. They are like impossible to find right now.

I have one and its fun to use. I am not into using it so people can see me in my living room but the playroom is fun. I think the playroom needs more to do but I think its coming soon. The video quality isn't at the level of kinect but the responsiveness and recognition of your face is very good. I don't regret it because in the long run it will be a great accessory. I only wish that the camera was at a true 1080p vs 720.

I'll be honest, I got one for Christmas and it's a great bit of fun at first... but I haven't used it in a few weeks, unless you're going crazy for Twitch streaming it lacks much versatility atm but with future games it certainly has potential but right now it's weak for the price.

Yes I do and no I wouldn't recommend it unless you just really want to live stream stuff.

Bought it on day one, kind of dissapointed. Except for Playroom which was just a short term novelty for me, I don't use it now. I was hoping games would implement it. I was hoping games support it with head tracking etc. Like in BF4 I tilt my head left and the player onscreen leans left. Thief will be awesome if it used head tracking.

i have the camera but it is a gimmick, it recognises you at login, you can give voice commands, but that's pretty much it... :)

it's nothing essential atm, but if you have the funds to spare, go for it; but if you have something more pressing on your priorities list, beware it is not a must or a game changer... :)

I have one but it's packed away in the draw, there ain't much you can do with it, really unless your into twich or ustream. the playroom isn't even a game there is not point to it to be honest, and i'm really dissapointed i don't know if it's more or what put the picture quality is pretty bad, the recognistion thing at the beginning is a good idea but the fact is you can just press x and it will take you into your profile anyway so it's does nothing for your security. I just want a good sports game or something like wii sports or even kinect sports for it, to give me a reason to bring it out the draw to be honest.

What i do find odd and this goes for kinect aswel, it's clear both machines were meant to come with the camera but non of them have actually gave us any game yet, (excluding the kinect sports game which isn't out yet until april i think) just seems strange we've got no game for the camera, i want a reason to buy a move controller so i can play a few sport games not bothered about proper games for it, leave that to the controller, but seriously give me some party games like the wii had honestly wii style games would sell the camera and even sell more systems thats how the wii sold so much.

the camera itself is small in fact after you put it where you think fits you probably won't move it anymore because either you will forget where you put it cause it just blends with the environment so well ! the camera on the ps camera is quite good and I sometimes use it to twitch or other stuff. the camera also is quite an awesome sound cancelling device as it can filter noise. one thing I like about it is you can talk to ps camera to navigate the ps4 UI using specific but simpler command than kinect but it was rather limited. but the ps camera detect you voice quite well too so streaming is awesome. and playroom is funny for a while

I have no interest in the camera. Then again, if a few of my friends got one that would certainly serve as an incentive for me to get one as well.

I don't have one but I really want one. It seems they are harder to find than a ps4. I think my kids would really enjoy playroom.

I haven't, and I don't need one. That's a good way to save money.

I have one and it really is only fun for games like just dance. Works ok for just dance. Have to try it with battlefield 4 though.
