Do you think Final Fantasy 7 will ever be downloadable on the PSN?

They NEED to....That's is not only a PS, but a videogame CLASSIC!! They would make so much money off that if they did it.

the original game was like 1.8 gigs (3 discs), maybe they can find a new way to compress it.

if I was to make an entirely speculated guess, yes they wouldbecause the sheer unstuttered popularity the game has been all these years. Eventually it would be on the PSN. But the longer we don't see it on the network, the higher possibility the remake is going to happen.

how much do they sell for cuz i bought a copy when I was like eight, and I havnt played it the whole way through so I don't know how good it is. I guess I should start on that.orphansoup

On ebay they run about 60 bucks and up. I have seen ff7 all the way up to 199 bucks. I have been able to find it at 49.99 but they are scrached.

Do you mean the disc is scrathed or the case, because i have a big crack in the case but only one of the discs has minor scratches. Also im guessing since my version is Greatest hits its probably worth less.

I would personally find it a good idea if SE and Sony put up a big amount of RPG's from the PS1; FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, Xenogears, etc.

From my personal view though, SE know's that they can easily make a lot of money off of FFVII (my examples include their milking of the universe with Advent Children, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus) so I wouldn't be very surprised that if after they finished making XIII and Versus XIII, that they may very likely start on a FFVII remake (just speculation).

i REALLY hope they put this up as a downloadable on the PSN..its the PS1 classic im anticipating the most to hit the NetworkFurbyballistik

? I spent 14 pounds(my pound sign isnt working) on FF7 game in perfect condition and on the FF7 walkthrough guide. Didn't need a load for that lol.

I got mine from eBay, £20/$40.. quite the bargain if you ask me, just a slight crack in the back-bottom of it, smells brand new tho :)

Oh and about VII on the PSN.. most likely, in due time - dont get your hopes up though, it wont be for a while

*lives in hope of a PS3 remake of FF7* I've seen the tech demo of the opening part of FF7 done for PS3 ... so someone's done at least part of it... make it into a proper PS3 game dammit... I would gladly pay £50 for that one, despite owning a mint condition FF7 PS1... I love that game... it's what got me hooked on Final Fantasy, and the ONLY thing that lets it down these days, is how far the graphics have come. Overhaul the graphics and Squaresoft and Sony would make a killing off of this game.jaxx1980

I've got a couple copies of this game. Want one? Too bad.

I have it on disc still, so I can play it anyway, but I don't think it's compatible with a lot of PS3s, the one on disc :( .ShmenonPie
