I just saw the xbox360 is getting yet another special edition version of a game, Bio Shock and Halo3. But when i had my xbox360 and bought special editions i never thought the extra dvd was worth owning, especially attatched to an amazing game you would rather play then watch a dvd. PS3 games seem to have the very bare minimum in them, very small instruction books, its all about the game. I'm not saying all are rubish, Silent Hill 2 had good bonuses, what do you guys think, have any special editions been confirmed for ps3?magrappyGod of war 2, every user is a special edition buyer :P
Actually im a weird 1. I have bought SE games becuz of the metallic boxes.
But personally i dont care for SE games or what comes in them, cuz most likely i wont look at the extras and even if i do it will only be once.Â
I like special edition stuff if its worth owning and it's a big game that benefits from it. Do I want a special edition Virtua Fighter? F*** no. Did I love God of War II's special features? OH YES. I think it can really work with some games.
Also, when it comes to multiplatform titles I can't say I'd complain if only the PS3 was getting the special edition *cough* Spider-man 3 *cough* (even if the game isn't in desperate need for one)
