I do wonder about this. There 1 out of 10 developers are in the range of such as Kojima Productions, Team Ninja and Square. The other 9 are the type that make games such as movie tie-ins and rehashed games. So 8 gigs will still be more than plenty for most developers out there.
In any case, you shouldn't care what others think of the PS3. You have it, you're having fun with it and more games are coming. So you should feel happy.

It's the problem that all the big system pusher titles all got inevitably delayed. Next year will see the unslaught of PS3 as all the title promised this year is bunched up into next year's release. PS3's actually doing pretty good positioning itself as a blu-ray player as of now. Sony just really need to get some serious titles out to secure its place as a viable gaming platform.
You already have some very good titles to choose from and ps3 is only a year old, 2008 looks like its going to be very good in terms of ps3 games so lets wait and see.
I can tell you that i'm happy with my ps3.
It's like the gaming world just pushed playstation aside and now everything is going to 360 and wii. I feel left in the dark with my ps3.rayof2k

That blows. I play 'em both. That's called being impartial. Too bad one choked on me and I had to send it in for repair. :(
I could be mistaken, but wasn't 360 in the same spot after a year of release? then things REALLY picked up. The same will happen for PS3. Online will really pick up too once Home is released. i just wish ninja gaiden 2 was being released on ps3 too. gamerchikrpg
You're not mistaken, Gears was really the first must have for 360, which came a year later (in my case though, DOA4 was the only most buy the entire year) As far a Ninja Gaiden 2, I am still gonna play it, so I don't care which system is on, though I sure hope it doesn't break once I get it:P
I want to get Assassin's Creed, but there isn't much point at the moment as Oblivion is taking up all my time. I've got Dirt as well which isn't being played as much as it deserves, again due to Oblivion.
After playing the demo of Ratchett and Clank, I wouldn't mind picking that up and I'll be getting Gran Turismo.
GTA IV is only about three months away, and I'm starting to feel that the games that I'm interested in playing are starting to stack up against me.
Admittedly, I only get to play for a couple of hours a night, but when I bought my PS3 I thought that if I finish what I was playing I could always play a few of the older Final Fantasys that I haven't got around to playing yet until the good games come out, now I'm just hoping another 'must have' game doesn't come out soon.
