I have one, but I usually dont talk much cuz everyone just wants to talk crap. Everyone just assumes i'm a guy with a girls name cause I dont say anything lol
I would pobably use one if I had one. But I dont have any games that uses the headset. But I think when HOME comes out I think that would be the best time to get it
sony was dumb and cheap for not including a headset in box (even the most greedy company in the world M$) did,, so because of that unless youre playing 'real friends',,, online always ffels like youre playing bots. No, i dont have one.

Thats the one thing I could never understand is why so many PS3 users don't talk or don't have a headset (at lease when I was playing Warhawk). I'm not going to compare it to another service where 95% of people have mics. Sony needs a standard cheap PS3 headset much like what Microsoft has for the 360. Sony is still out of touch!

I've got a Motorola bt headset but I can't use it becuase it makes my controller go crazy. I have to restart my ps3 to get my controllers to work correctly.
Well, nobody ever used a headset during the hieght of the Playstation 2 days, so its really no surprise that nobody is using the headset on the Playstation 3.
On the other hand, on Xbox people always used a headset, and on Xbox 360 this trend continued. Must just be something that Playstation fans don't like.
It's kind of frustrating on team based games. But WTF I'll take the silence anyday over the neverending immature chatter they have going on in XBL.siwelcram
*shivers* thinking about that sends chills down my spine. I realized that more people have headsets in the expert servers (Although ironicly the skills of the players go down). And usually there isn't too much unnecessary cursing but when there is it gets pretty bad.
I think more people have headsets on the XBOX 360 because like others mentioned it established online team based games already on the XBOX as the norm. However, on the PS2 it was all about variety and mostly single-player games like JRPGs. And that is slowly transferring over to the PS3 with Heavenly, Sword, Uncharted, RaC, and Disgaea 3.
I use mine. It's getting to point where people are annoying me. Which, ironically, I kind of like. Some 11 year old kept telling me to shut up yesterday in Warhawk. He kept saying in his pre-pubescent voice, "Shut off open mic!" If I was alone, I would have swore at him! :P Then 5 dudes spoke spanish for a whole Call Of Duty match! They were talking so fast! :D
I have a USB headset and its great, u just plug it in and wait for somebody to talk in the game. If nobodys talking, u just leave it on until they do, since it's with a cord, i can have it plugged in all the time.
For those who wanna know, it's just a regular logitech headset---

I have the EYE which can be used as a mic. But I dont use it because the majority of people just talk trash, act stupid and really dont try and be strategic by using the mic for an advantage during matches. So I just dont even bother with it.
