does fallout 3 screw up your ps3? because i really want it and is it worth buying

no it doesnt screw ps3's up. it wouldnt have sold millions if it did. its just not as sharp as the 360 version.

but as a whole, its a great rpg/shooter (whatever ppl want to call it) and is a definite must-have for your ps3 collection

As long as you have the latest patch you should be fine. I've had it freeze on me a few times but I've also put about 70hrs into that game. Just remember to do a hard save every 20 min or so that you play.
