I m about to install linux yellow dog on my ps3, and i ve heard that everything get deleted, what about the games that i bought ( warhawk and mk2) i ll have to buy them again? and my friend list!?!?!?!??!

It all gets wiped.... which is why there is a backup system and why if you dont know this you shouldnt be using linux.

umm... if u have 2 formate no it wont remove your online account and friends but it will remove your game data and your downloaded games what u should do is save all that data by ( back up utility ) onto a usb device
