Yeh I was playijng it a couple of weeks ago, its cool in the lower levels b4 everyone turns pro haha. Fun and original some of the kills are awesome lol with stealth tactics and cqc can beareally good game at times!

I'm sure there are. It used to be a lot of fun whenever it first came out, but if you tried to play it now you might not get as much out of it as you would've back then. It's kinda...dated.
Plus Konami is a big fat stupid idiot for not using the PSN for their DLC and servers. It's the most convoluted and frustrating hassle I've ever been through with an online games before.

Yeah people still play it. My friend is addicted to it. Since he got the game back in 2008 he hasn't bought or played another PS3 game lol. I tried to get him interested in other games but he doesn't ever want to.
don't get it. don't. i am a MGS nut. and believe me when i say don't, i mean it. You'll need a day or two to download the patches, even if your connection is a 100mbps speed. The online is glitchy and sometimes broken. Players have moved on not to mention that most of the servers are empty. If you really want an old multiplayer game, go with Warhawk.
Let me tell you now (as a former MGO player) Uncharted 2's multiplayer is like an improved version of MGO.
Uncharted is flawed and its never better than MGO. LOL uncharted online is good but only when it works. half the time the servers fail and just kick you out and then screw you even further by taking you down a level. and dont believe ppl of this 1-2 days worht of patch downloads. my friend bought the game a few weeks ago and it took him a little under 3 hrs to download and he has a horrible connection. for an old multiplayer game MGO is still going strong with 2000+ ppl a day. its a hard game to play at first but once you get the hang of it its a lot of fun.
