Does your heart hurt a little when you pay $60 for a game? Just wondering, because everytime I hand over $60 for any game, I feel a little sad and hurt, even for games like Killzone 2.

thats what u get for buying a movie game that has very little info out
Yeah its based of the movie series but it is not really a movie game. It has its own story.Forgot about you Australian gamers. I think I would be giving up gaming if I lived there, especially since you don't get Left 4 Dead 2 or GTA San Andreas I think.Considering games cost $100+ new in Australia you had better not have problems with paying $60.

A little bit, but since most of the games if not ALL the games I buy I enjoy very much and forget about the $60

We had San Andreas, it was banned after the Hot Coffee incident, but it was re-released later on again with the Hot Coffee code removed. I Import all of my games because its cheaper. $30-40 cheaper most of the time.Considering games cost $100+ new in Australia you had better not have problems with paying $60.

thats a good mind set to have my brotha...hell i have a job and i make sure im not spending my 60 dollars on a pos
I can live with $60.
It was when it hit $70 a game that's whenI pretty much stopped buying them. That's the price for a new release here in Canada: $70 + tax. That's an average price of around $77 per game. Outrageous. I'm ALOT more careful of what games I purchase now. I've passed on at least 5 games lately that I would have otherwise purchased.
When I bought Killzone 2, Little Big Planet and Resistance 2, I felt like I didn't get my moneys worth so I got rid of them and used the money to buy games that were more worthwhile to me. I don't know, I tend to not buy every new game I see that looks cool anymore. Only getting Assassins Creed II and the last game I bought was Prototype, which I enjoyed very much regardless of how repetitive the game was. I definitely will be throwing down 60 for games like Final Fantasy XIII and God of War III without even thinking about the money I spent on it. So if I really do like the game and the length or replay value is pretty good then I'm pretty fine with it. Though I'd say games at 50 are much better. And if you really don't like paying around 65 with tax and all that. Buy it on newegg.com, I think for most states it is tax free plus a lot of the games tend to be cheaper as well. For brand new games I've seen prices such as 49.99, 52.99, 54.99 and the most expensive $56.99.
Hasn't hurt me too badly. Then again, I haven't paid $60 for a game. The most I've spent on PS 3 games have been in the $15-$20 range. I know sooner or later I'll plop down the $60 for inFAMOUS. I want that game so badly it's not even funny. I just have to make sure I don't blow my whole paycheck on games. My mom cringes when she sees a Gamestop bag.
Not really, but when I realise the new release I payed top dollar for is crap then I do hurt a little but that's usually fixed by offloading it to someone for 10 dollars less then I bought it for, 20 dollars if it's a mate haha.
