something is wrong with that kid. at 8 years old i was watching friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street,potergiest ect. parents these days are raising a bunch of wimps. If she would have pi**ed on my floor and ran out ofthe house screaming i would have let the dumb little **** go.

You're kidding, right? A kid is not "stupid" because she pees herself off of fear, fictitious material or not. And who are you to tell what kids should or shouldn't do? Whether you did act the sort or not as a child (which remains to be proven), you didn't set the bar for a universal standard in child psyhology.

Yoy shouldn't be looking after children at all. Nex time your friend calls you should politely inform her that you are not qualified and shouldn't be left alone with children and that really she should call someone else. I know some of the other posters enjoyed your post & thought it was cute,but the fact of the matter is you really shouldn't be minding children of you're not going to give them 100% of your attention and diligence. It would be better for all. You have no idea how lucky you were that something more major didn't happen. You did not hear her enter your room, which is to say you would not have heard her leave the house or have an accident or get into some other incident for which children are notorious. Honestly this is one of the dumber posts I've read in the 8 years I've been posting here. Stay away from kids till you have your own.

Thegirl was freaking 8, not a toddler, the only reason they left her over at his crib was so that she wasn't alone. If you think a freaking 8 year old is gonna mess themselves up, would you leave them with a video game junkie. They knew what he was doing when the asked him to watch. A8 year old peeing on themselves is really sad. When I was 8 I was a latch key kid and didn't even have a babysitter. Kids these days seem to get more and more immature. That's why I don't deal with and will not have kids, cause if my kid comes in the room and doesn't have a reason and does speak up instead of sneaking around for no reason it'll be game off for that behind. She should have been wearing a depends. This mess is like blaming actual violence on video games, no kid that isn't already mental out-there is gonna go kill some people because the are playing a fps. Parents need to spend more time parenting and less time blaming. Too main preteen walking around these day with the mindset of toddlers. The story is funny on a level, but mostly it's sad.
