I'm looking for a good RPG to play over the holidays since ive pretty much finished Fallout 3 and Borderlands. Which is better Dragon Age Origins or Demons Soul?

Demons Souls is friggin awesoe and if you didnt say over the holiday break id tell you to get it...but Dragon Age ORigins is something yyoull get sucked into with its story along with everything else in the game....but please dont skip Demons SOuls altogether youll be sorry
Demon's Souls is much more action oriented while Dragon Age is much more story oriented.
Now would be a VERY good time to buy Demon's Souls as White Soul Tendency starts tommorow and ends on the 28th. It basically means enemies are easier and awesome locations with great loot open up to you.
It's a huge advantage right from the get-go, look it up for more info.
Depends on what you feel like playing. Dragon Age is more story driven with group strategy combats. Demon's Souls is more action oriented with no story. DS combat is fun the game is very addictive once you get use to the control, but the character progression are very uninspiring. If you want variety in magics and spells then you should pick Dragon Age. I did enjoy Demon's Souls, but I honestly believe that it's overrated. I prefer more strategy in my RPG. I prefer more items, spells, skill abilities, in my action rpg.
You can't go wrong with either imo since I think both are great
...
but my preference is Demon's Souls
I won't go into too much detail but all I'll say is that Dragon age, to me, felt like a lifeless game [incomplete/rushed game with emphasis solely on revenue (in game DLC advertising, cheesy gore,, lack of storage chest until you buy DLC etc.) ]..but if you look past all these annoyances there's somewhat of a solid game inside....
Playing through Demon's Souls, I got the feeling that the devs made it out of love for making games and not because they were trying to capitalize or reach out....you're thrown into the world from the get go and you'll have to figure it all out by yourself (or through the aid of other players via online). if you make a major mistake, there's no reversing it...it maybe smaller in scale than Dragon Age, but I think it was more thought out than DA.
with that being said, if I were you, I'd make my decision based on what you want from your RPG...
Do you want a party based game that's driven heavily by dialogue/plot ? If so then go for dragon age.
Do you want to experience a stricter and more traditional type of RPG with minimal dialogue that has you explore the world on your own through trial and error? If so, then Demon's Souls is the game for you.
