EA to purchase Take-Two :(

Doesn't take two publish the 2k games. This would make EA the only game in all sports which would suck. I mean look at madden, every year the same crap and ppl buy it. jyoung312

They've already ****ed up the Madden, NBA Live,NCAAF and NFS titles, so if that happens, I'll never buy a GTA game again, including IV.YOOOOOOOUUUUU

If Sqaure Enix goes bankrupt with FFXIII and Versus because people will think it'll be cute to ignore the games, expect EA to be there...waiting.

And then we can expect FFXVI next year.

EA sucks and will always suck as long as they hold on to their corporate style of running the production of their games. Imagine an insurance/telemarketing/etc. company with little cubicles and all the drones working because they need to buy food and could care less about what they are doing. This is what EA is and why about 15 people I know that have worked there have quit.

EA doesn't allow innovation from anyone but the specific people they pay for it. EA doesn't care about their worker's ideas or desire to create something special. They care about how they can just get by and make the most profit in the quickest amount of time, not realizing that their reputation is pretty much unreversably shot.

Take a look at the school Full Sail. EA hires a bunch of people from there, as it is very close to one of their HQ in FL. I just mention this school in particular because it's pretty much a feeding school for EA and I know a BUNCH of people that say they wasted a ton of money going to school there, because most companies won't hire people from there, because they don't want the type of people that EA aims to hire.

EA is a major company, and I'm not saying everything EA is a part of is run this way, but it's an underlying problem and reason why most of their games are so bland and unoriginal. Not to mention, it's also why their ports are so lazily done and games are rushed to meet specific dates: they only care about making the money fast, not realizing that eventually such poor managing will be their downfall.

There is no quotes from anyone at EA or Take 2 saying anything about a merger.

EA already said that they were done buying up studios after they bought pandemic/bioware.
