My easiest Platinum was Terminator Salvation and the hardest/time consuming (so far) Fuel.

You're just terrible at videogames, BioShock is easy, you can save anywhere, anytime. And you don't need to do a separate run for collectibles, you can get the Platinum in one playthrough, and definitely in two.
You have the WaW Plat and you're complaining about how hard BioShock is?
StealthMonkey4
I didn't say it was "hard" and am not complaining about the game at all. I'm aware you can save anywhere. Regardless of that, I'm just saying it's not even close to one of the easiest PS3 titles to platinum. Check the thread title you are posting in, Bioshock shouldn't even be in the discussion. Just based on how many things you need to collect (Audio Diaries AND Tonics), as well as all the upgrade stations. Just the amount of collectibles makes this game more annoying to try to platinum than most every other game mentioned and probably dozens of games not mentioned. I just don't find it particulalry hard OR easy, just somewhere in the middle.
Sure you CAN beat get it all in one play through if you follow everything in a guide. But like I said that would most likely ruin the experience. That is...unless you enjoy consulting a guide every 10 minutes, as well as saving your game constantly. I just don't play like that on my first run through.
Annoying collectibles and multiple playthroughs (though you can easily do it two, one just for enjoyment, the second for Survivor difficulty and collectibles) don't make a game hard.
Reading comprehension fail again. I'll try it in bold letters this time...."I didn't say it was hard".
This thread is about EASIEST platinum trophy EVER. OP brings up Spare Parts, a PSN game that he says is barely a couple of hours. That very well could be the absolute easiest platinum. Honestly there's got to be at least 50 games easier to platinum than Bioshock.
Yeah Tekken 6 is challlenging. I spent hours trying to beat that gigantic Nancy robot, and when I finally beat him/her/it I did it without being hit a single time... so typical Nancy and beating the Nightmare train were the two most frustrating things ever.[QUOTE="SemiMaster"]Out of the 5 I have Borderlands or Sonic's ultimate were easiest... WKC and FFXIII are easy but time consuming. Tekken 6 was the only challenging platinum I've tried to get.JuliaanStark
Tomb Raider: Underworld, Unreal Tournament III, Bioshock, Bioshock 2 & Prince of Persia are easy enough.
CheekyIchi
What???!!?!!?
You're joking right? :o
The bioshock trophy 'I chose the impossible' is quite tedious.
Beating the game on the hardest difficulty setting without using a vita chamber. That sounds annoying....I can just picture hundreds of saves, exiting to main menu and re-entering a game save, taking pictures of everything...too much frustration.

Yeah, the Nightamre train was super-frustrating. I was lucky though, I knocked Devil Jin of the train. Which character did you use for both the Nightmare train and Nancy? I used Law for nightmare train and Jack for Nancy.[QUOTE="SemiMaster"]Out of the 5 I have Borderlands or Sonic's ultimate were easiest... WKC and FFXIII are easy but time consuming. I gave up on Fuel, the game is too freaking huge!My easiest Platinum was Terminator Salvation and the hardest/time consuming (so far) Fuel.

Haha. This. My brother and I played it together one night cause he's obsessed with the Terminator. The whole time I felt like I was doing him a huge favor, because that game sucks so bad. You get all the trophies automatically, though. I'm just glad we were playing on my account. lolterminator is the easiest to get, if you can stand playing an awful game

I'm only missing the PS eye trophies and the trophy were you have to meet up with 8 players in that arena. The other trophies are easyOf those I played, I'd say Burnout Paradise even if I don't have the plat (I do not have a ps eye nor any sort of compatible camera).
Of those I have, probably Resident Evil 5.

I didn't respond to TC by saying BioShock, I said Megamind was. I simply was responding to how you claimed that BioShock wasn't easy, when it is easy, I never did claim it was the "easiest."

Yes I do. while most of them are simply time consuming, (such as getting 200 kills on 50 different days) A few of them a really hard, like beating the game on Insane. UT3 is far from an easy platinum.
working on my uncharted 2 plat right now. considering doing some trophy whoring just to boost my level passed 13. dont like being on an unlucky number like that, but at that point thatd mean i would need 5-8 more plats just to move up to level 14. lucky i found this topic, think ill go with OPs psn recommendation, underworld, and the sly collection seem all easy and enjoyable enough. probably my proudest platinum is killzone 2, infamous and uncharted despite them being somewhat easy, just time consuming, especially killzone 2, but i loved the game so much it wasnt so badDangerHiVoltage
You should try Borderlands, it's really fun and if you give it time the trophies are basically thrown at you...

Probably not, but I'm pretty sure you can earn those trophies using bots instead of other players.
So a few days ago Spare Parts was released on PSN, and the game is pretty good actually.... But HOLY **** the trophies in this game are just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy! I mean, 1 silver trophy, 11 gold trophies and a freaking platinum trophy for a cheap ass 3-4 hour game!!1 I don't really mind this cause I'm getting a free* platinum, but come on at least give me a challenge....
JuliaanStark
I'm actually 5 hours into the game and I'm only halfway done. Plus, the "find 100 ship parts" trophy requires two players. Since I have two controllers I can actually do some of these, although it is awkward trying to control two at the same time. So, not that easy. But still pretty easy.

I couldn't imagine a friend wanting to help someone for hours playing an extremely dull game just to get trophies, and maybe he just didn't feel like waiting.

It's mostly just "one player stand on this thing, while the other goes to get treasure." I'm not gonna bother my friends by letting them play this game. Pretty mediocre game. Bad controls and downright bad design. I'm finished with it now. Platinum in 7 hours.

Hopefully Epic learns their lesson with UT3 and doesn't release a game with a quarter of the content of it's predecessor .
Ooh, do tell, do tell.... I have over 65 BluRay games and close to 60 PSN titles with near 500 trophies, yet my attention issues and impulsive/compulsive game buying keep me from having even one stinking Platinum.[QUOTE="CheekyIchi"]
There are several other games that are easy to platinum.
danjammer69
lol, my daughter's copy of Hannah Montana is starting to really look good right now. But I really do not want to completely shame myself and lose any cred with my GS friends...or do I ;)
You have to get on that. I have only 16 blu-ray games that offer trophies (24 overall), along with 4 PSN titles, and I have 628 trophies.[QUOTE="Second_Rook"]Platinum for a 3 hour game? Does it have adjustable difficulty or do you get the plat just for finishing the game? JuliaanStarkThe only things you have to do other than just finishing the game, is just buy some crap and find all the parts for a ship. I'm getting this game......
Anyway, the plats I have are:
R&C ACiT
inFamous
Working on Heavy Rain and FF13. Next one more trophy in FF13 before plat...

This game might have been better with two players though. But if you have an extra controller, you can easily do the two player portions yourself. If you're like me, hunting for trophies.

I could see friends helping you out and spending a few hours if it's something important, but a trophy..? Yeah, they wouldn't want to at all, I could probably get them to somehow, but they wouldn't enjoy it.

That's true, but they'd do it and that's what mattersI still haven't got the 1.02 patch for Spare Parts so I'm stuck at 99/100 parts to get my platinum...SoopaKilladid they come out with a 1.02? i restarted the game yesterday, pretty frustrating but i thought the game might never get fixed and apparently if you just dont update it you can get all 100
