I love Oblivion and I been waiting for other Elder Scrolls soo badly, so I don't know what to think about this, it kinda sucks and it's kind of cool. Sucks cause I'm already going to be into 2 MMO by next year, it's cool cause it means a new ES. A single player game with a optional 5 player Co-op online would of been better I think. I've always wanted to go on cave raids with people onlineon an Elder Scroll game, it would be Awsome, I've always dreamed that they someday would come out with a huge patch to make it Oblivion Co-op. Here's other link I found about this news with more info.

Like you,i hope next TES is single player with online mode.I understand online is important in modern games (longevity, sales, etc.) but if it`s an MMORPG ,no buy for me.

Nothing official has been heard, I know a Fallout MMO is coming out but other than that nothing else.

Honestly i hope they stick to the single player mechanic with some sort of online mode but not a full blown mmo

tes: oblivion is my fav rpg, i don't want bathesda make it something like wow. i think it would better if they made it somethinkg like wkc witch have a story mode that is over 100 hours long and an online mode based on the story. i heard that it will be 200 yeats after the end of oblivion

edit: an online co-op mode would be awesome, great idea tc

In all honesty, an Elder Scrolls MMO would be overshadowed by quite a few other MMO's. WoW would still be running strong, Final Fantasy XIV will be out with its awesome looking character advancement, and Star Wars: The Old Republic will probably be out sometime next year, which is looking rather awesome, to say the least. Then you have Star Trek Online, and a few others I can't remember the names of...oh, Hello Kitty Online. It's gonna be big.

Anyways, big names to compete against. I can't see it being very successful if it was released. Look at Warhammer. Quite a big and popular name, and it failed. It's still going, but it's nowhere near the WoW-killer that it professed itself to be. Another fantasy MMO would just suffer the same fate, probably worse.

I also agree with a general co-op capability, rather than a full fledged MMO.

You too lazy to use google?

I typed White Knight Chronicles into Google, and a plethora of articles came up. Give it a whirl.

Please god no. We don't need more MMO's.
