Sorry for the quality of the photos but they were taken with a cell phone in the office of a famous developer. They have the same size and design than the current Sixxaxis but with the rumble feature !!

Sony plans to officially announce them at the Tokyo Game Show.

That's because rumble isn't communicated visually.....

I think his point was that the controller has no visual changes to suggest that anything is different. It still just says SIXAXIS.

Yeah, the PS2 controller says "DUALSHOCK2" where the PS3 one just says "SIXAXIS"..

Na I got his point more as a. The Sixaxis will never have rumble. When we all know it will. Just a matter of when. MGS4 or Killzone 2 may be it. But I think it may be latter than that even. They went threw so much stuff to get it. And im sure they did for some reason. Eclipse83Lives

I'm sure it'll come, sooner or later. But I'm not very sure that it's a rumble-controller on the pics..

Yeah, I can slap some stickers on my controller, plug a pizzaz-filled usb cable in and take some blurry pictures, too.

Well we know they did not spend zillion dollars on getting rumble back for nothing. The question I wounder is. What game are the hiding, that it will be on first? May be a while yet,, may not be?Eclipse83Lives

What I wonder is some Sony person a while back said that the rumble would f up the sixaxis functionality, yet now it seems that rumble may actually happen. I'm not one who is aching for rumble so much, at this point I just want the answer so I can know to buy more paddles now or wait for rumble paddles.

I know that assassins creed is supposed to use rumble as a gameplay mechanic, so who knows maybe we have to wait for that game to come out to get rumble in ps3 paddles...

yes there is, i heard dirty had rumble. or you just can use a ps2 game, and leave it on a table or something, and it will move...

I wonder what the battery life is going to be like. That is my main concern.

wow!!! OMG i can see it now!!! it looks....heavier :shock: well i dont understand the purpose of takin the pictures if u know there is NO WAY we can see any dif.

but if u say it has rumble, ok then it has, but as some of the guys around here, i`m gonna wait till the official announcement so i can get really excited and angy, cuz i`m gonna spend 60 more dlrs on something i should`ve had since the beginnin, but i dont mind cuz it has rumble, but its 60 more dlrs, or may be 120 if i want my friends to play with rumble, :shock: oohhh the humanity!!!

Also a little off topic here, why does everyone hate the triggers so much. They're great for racing games in my opinion allowing you to feather the trottle far more accurately than the right analog stick. PixelJunk Racers is a great example of it. Just my two cents.

I love the triggers. They're great for shooters too, or as the thrust in Warhawk. I like feeling a little pressure. They aren't all springy either, like the 360 controllers.

When the Dual SHock 3 comes out, it will say it on there.

I dont believe there will be ANy Sixasis on there at all

There was talk about GT5 possibly using the "rumble" feature but that is also speculation do to a photo.
