Was anyone else impressed with the free eye-create tools? i finally got my hands on Eoj today, i haven't started the game yet, but me and my brother fooled around and made some pretty cool stuff with eye-create. i have to say, that the the PSeye is an impressive little piece of equipment.
i had both my eyetoy and my new PSeye out tonight and was testing them side by side. the PSeye is an excellent improvement over the eyetoy, i mean, the eyetoy looks like crap compared to it.
in my room i usually have to turn on my ugly over head light plus a lamp or two to get sufficient lighting, but i had 1 lamp with a 60 watt bulb going behind my tv and it was more than enough light for the camera to pick up everything.
the camera alone justifies buying EoJ, which is an awsome game. eye-create can be alot of fun, and i haven't even gotten into time lapse or stop motion yet.
ill get one when there is more games compatible with it

the UK already has 3 or 4 DL games for it, so they should be here in a week or two. plus if you're looking for a mic, its an excellent, cheap alternative.

same here despite the name. i think we might be getting a couple of them on the PS store this week.
Hmmm I saw the Eyecreate tool and dled it even tho I don't have the PSeye but I think I might pick it up if you say it's so good. I don't really have the funds right now since november is crazy gamer month but after xmas I will def. pick it up! Do they sell just the PSeye?

they will soon, its alot of fun if you have someone to make movies with, i was surprised how good the sound quality was, it picks up pretty much everything.
this may seem like a stupid question, ive not really paid that much attention to the PSEye, can you record with it and save the video to the hdd then view it anytime frm the xmb? also if you can, what format are the videos?
The new PSEye is ALOT better than the old PS2 one.. Much more FPS and clearer picture - better sound quality and it just generally works and looks better. EyeCreate is a decent bit of software - shame it doesnt go more indepth.. would mean I wouldnt have to export the video over to the PC to edit it properly!
You can get the PSEye now for $40, I saw a few last week while looking for Eye of Judgment. Has anyone tried playing EyeToy games with PSEye? I'm really curious to know if that'll work.
