I love FO3, but it really depends on how much you like doing side quests and exploring. The main story is actually pretty short, especially once you get about half way through the story missions. If you like sidequests, there are a TON of fully fleshed-out quests for you to do and places for you to explore. I played for about 70hr and still did not finish everything. I also hear that they patched the PS3 version so it is not as buggy. I would recommend the 360 version or the PC version if you have a PC or 360 only because I know that the PS3 version was initially significantly more buggy.
it depends if i were u i would rent it first then if u liked it buy it.i for one rented it the other day and i was amazed ill try to buy it some day this week or month
