Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas?

I, personally, am on the Fallout 3 side, but some of my friends don't agree. What do you guys think about it? Is Fallout 3 a better game or does New Vegas take the win?

Fallout 3 was a fantastic game. New Vegas is lackluster. The atmosphere pales in comparison, the story is mediocre, and it barely even feels post apocalyptic anymore.

All aspects considered and compared, Fallout 3 is the winner in my opinion. New Vegas has better gameplay mechanics but the story and atmosphere didn't impress me as much.

Fallout 3 is by far a better game.

Easily Fallout 3. NV I just couldnt get into.

Liked Fallout 3 (completed with all endings) yet for reasons i can't explain I'm enjoying NV more. Despised the tunnel systems in Fallout 3 so quite happy that they arent thet extensive in NV. The addition of companions is great and the storyline so far is quite good.

One thing though:

Cazadors = EVIL

Fallout 3+ all the dlcs, is a masterpiece from A to Z. Can't say the same for NV.
