Fat Princess Impressions - Comment about what you think of the game!

So far, i've only played the single-player. At the beginning, I thought the game was Meh. But THEN when I got more into the game, it started to get REALLY fun! I haven't gotten into a Online match yet, Due to the servers probably being full. But I heard there was Mini-games too. So the Game is really fun for me and Worth the $15. Comment!

Definitely do the single player tutorial first. I got into a online match straight off and did not know what the hell was going on. Matches seem to take awfully long to complete. Very hard to capture the princess. But i'd say the game was definately worth the buy. for some weird reason the game reminds me of warcraft 3. Guess its the colorful graphics and the classes.

How the heck are you supposed to play the single player mode? The opposing team keeps constantly bombarding my base. All the computer ai on my team keep defending and im the only one who charges the other castle. Its a lost cause, they keep rushing my guys keep running back to kill them and i have no one to go with me to base.

yea you will have problems in the single player due to the ai or lack of artificial intelligence. they should have had same screen coop for you and a friend it would have made the game more fun hopefully they can patch that up later

I actually feel the ranger or whatever hes called is way weak. Especially when he upgrades to gun. The rate of fire is horrible. Also i hope they fix the targeting its kind of buggy imo.

Really? I found the Ranger overpowered with the rifle...if you keep running its great

Online games taking a whole to load anyone else?

I haven't actually connected to one yet since I'm too impatient and quit.

Game is balls to the wall awesome, and I've only played the single player campaign. It's nice to figure out how the game works and stuff. It's a nice tutorial for sure.

Favorite class is the Advanced Worker. I love throwing bombs. I was playing chapter 4 I think where you need to capture the Princess 3 times, and was not making any progress. Tried out the Advanced Worker class and we got the Princess 3 times in less than 10 minutes. Awesome. You pretty much can't die with it, or at least not in my case :lol:

I find it to be fun, beat the single player in about an hour, an played online with some gamespotters all day. I also got ranked 21 worldwide.

I'm a bit dissappinted...feels like BF1943 where its fun for a day or two and then you forget it about it. Though it would probably be really awesome playing with/against organized teams.

well my luck is just crap when it comes to playing online, i cant get into a game and nobody seems to want to join mine :( but otherwise im having a blast playing SP as a tutorial and getting raped by gladiate mode.

This game is pretty crack...

Played the online for a good 3 hours yesterday. Favorite class so far is the mage.

It would certainly be a lot more fun playing with people who actually want to use strategy though.

i love this game, i love the builder with thebombs upgrade, if a game make me laugh when i make go bomb the others with a bomb and see all the blood and pieces on the floor, its worth

As others have stated, it also takes me a bit to connect to the servers. My favorite class is the advanced worker, charge up your bomb then launch it at someones face. I won a game last night by taking the princess into a "sewer" and coming up middle of the map and my team helped me. This was well worth the money! Now I have this AND Demon's souls... finally the ps3 is worth owning

Indeed. I've tried both ways of entering the castle. The more direct way, and the sideway entrance next to the big rock. Unless there's an easier place I'm missing, this battle will take a looooong time. I'll either have tons of allies with me and they'll be wiped flat in less than 10 seconds, or we will breach the castle and I'm the only one who goes to grab the Princess.

here it's how i won that chapter, after like almost an hour of trying, i builded a catapult (the one in your castle), jump to the enemy castle, if you are lucky enough you will find a slim princess, quickly take her and run to the right, jump to the super mario like pipe and when you go out, start running to your castle.

it was a bit of luck tough, i hope it helps

awesome so far, its funny you can have a great time playing this

what more could you ask from a 15€ game

Pretty cool game. Only way to get into an online game was to go with friends though for me. The online matches were great too at least the Gamespot match cause there was actually teamwork and strategy (mostly). I was just being a villager running and feeding the Princess cake in one match and then she got so fat that I actually got stuck in her cage on the magma level, lol. My mic wasn't working so I had the little dude call for help and like 3 people were trying to help me out. ABout a minute or two later I was able to get out, it was pretty sad but awesome at the same time.
