Fat PS3 looks better than PS3 Slim

Ok by now... everyone probably has seen the new PS3 Slim. Is it just me or it looks cheap compared to the Fat PS3? LOL I'll be keeping mine.

As will I my friend. Hopefully this will entice some of my 360 friends over to the PS3 side, that's why the Slim is a good thing imo...

I like the little curve around the disc insert, but beyond that, not a huge fan of the re-design.

I appreciate my PS3 Fat even more.

I enjoy the fattie.

I like the no gloss plastic. it looks rugged. It would easily fit into a suit case or carry on for a plane trip.

Nothing beats the fat Ps3.

I never thought someone would trade-in a good working PS3 for a re-design anyway. And if you don't have a PS3 already I doubt how the console looks would factor into your descision making process. If my PS3 breaks and I have to get a new one I'm not gonna complain about outside appearances. I just want it to play games.

I sold my fat (on ebay, didn't give it away to gamestop) one and i am going to buy the slim.. but i have reasons for it... 1.My warranty ran up on my old one and it started to get louder, so i am going to buy the slim at bestbuy with a 2 year extended warranty.. (main reason) 2. itwill be smaller, which will be better for college.. .. 3. Bigger hardrive.

the only good thing about the slim is that more people will be able to buy PS3s and more development will happen because of this. Guess it's good overall but... the original looks best this time around. Best Buy has 250gig Sata drives for $64.00. I now have a 250gig PS3 so I'm happy lol

The Slim will never have marks from fingerprints, and I wouldn't have to clean it on a regular basis, so that's what I voted for. But, I still love my fatty. Mainly because "PLAYSTATION 3" I fully spelled out. Seriously, they could have fit the entire word, so why just have "PS3"? It seems like a weird decision...

I definitely prefer the original design.

I have to go with the fat PS3. The slim looks too dull and cheap in my opinion.

The original PS3 looks better with glossy and chrome finish IMO. Even non-gamers in my family think it looks beautiful. So they thinkthe PS3 isnot a totally waste of money.

The original PS3 looks like an expensive piece of equipment to me. The Slim PS3 looks cheap (maybe better for sales?) and like a toy.

I also like how I can set my PS3 vertical.
