This game looks to be better than XII and besides how could you go wrong with a female character with the name of something that could kill you with one strike.

FF12 was good. I don't know why people hate it. The story was meh, but everything was pretty cool. I played that game a ton.
I argee i loved FF12 and put over 200 hours in it. Cant wait for FF13 Yes the storyline sucked as well as the skill licence board system was weird. The battle system was terrible. Yes the random battles had gone but only controlling one character in faux MMO-style battles were bad. Having to spend time pre programming your allies AI with HEAL>PARTY>LESS THAN 20%HP is bad enough but having to buy or find these statements was retarded.You spent too much time having to grind through vastly empty areas to defeat the stupidly tricky bosses. Vaan the main character seemed to be a passer by and not really involved in the story. So much back tracking i ended up thinking i was Samus. Etc etc.
I saw the UK trailer for FF13, it said "09.03.10" and I was like WTF???? September is hella long. Then I remembered it wasn't the American format lol. I'm very excited omg...
FFXIII is my most anticipated game of all time so yes I give lots of damns about this game. MW2 is awesome, but its nothing compared to what I'll feel when I get my hands on FFXIII in March. I am literally stopping all other games while I play this. Can't freaking wait.

I put 117 hours into the game on 1 playthrough and I still never went back to finish everything I wanted to do. Also, while the story wasn't great, I still didn't think it was as bad as people make it out to be.

Final Fantasy XIII is one of the reason I'm in this current generation of gaming. I didn't even buy Modern Warfare 2. I'm real excited. I'll probably skip work to play FFXIII.
It's good to hear an official announcement. I'm REALLY anticipating this game. It's one of the few games I'm anticipatingfor 2010 along with Bayonetta, and Heavy Rain.
Immensely. I don't care much for MW2 although I'd like to see what all the fuss is about. I just hope I'm here for when it launches, otherwise my wife will be hogging it till I get back :P

lol you should definitely skip work. I'm requesting off work that day, picking it up at midnight, and playing for at least 24 hours straight. I might call out the day after too. Hell I've even considered taking one of my weeks of vacation just to play this all week but March is a bit too early for me so I'll stick to just my 1 or 2 days :P
Took them long enough to announce it. I wish SE includes theme song and japanese voice, they can easily fit into blu-ray. What i don't like and no choice but to openly accept it, is international theme song(by Leona Lewis). I admit the song is great to listen and they choose great singer but somewhat not fit into the whole game's theme, maybe because i'm used to FF series with Asian singer and Nobuo Uetmatsu or maybe i need to actually experience the game and listen the song to see if the whole thing match.
I can't wait to get FFXIII! I've been waiting too long actually, c'mon its been nearly 5 full years! That guy that did that annocement video was weird and creepy. Kinda reminded me of the jerk on the Office or Sylar from Heroes.

They probably won't include the Japanese audio because of the 360 version though. With it being multiple discs I don't know if they could add in both audio tracks. You're right that it would easily fit onto a Blu-ray, but they're not going to include it on the PS3 version if they can't on the 360. They might be able to squeeze it on there somehow, but even if thay can fit it onto the DVDs, I still doubt it'll have it. Not many games do have the Japanese audio tracks.

well i care a lot about FFXIII too, but there are a whole lot of games coming nex year that i got my eye on. You saying ur not interested in god of war III or heavy rain???
I'm ecstatic it's coming out in March. My anticipation has just shot through the roof now that a release date is set. FFXIII baby!!!!

So did I. I loved FF12, sure its story was "mildly inspiring" for some but i liked it, besides playing it a whole lot, the ending was aweesome! And yes TC i am very excited and happy that it got a date, and actually i couldnt care less for MW2.

lol I guess. I just heard some British guy pronounce it with an extra i before so I assumed that was their proper pronunciation. Like I said though, we like to do things our own way in America :P
