After playing round 2 I had high hopes for this game. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. Both round 2 and 2004 are much more fun including a better career mode and more enjoyable boxing experience. The new "impact puches" create flawed gameplay and throw almost all strategy out the window. The online is either okay or horrible (in my personal experience).
It's not the worst boxing game ever, but it is the worst in the series and a monumental disappointment in my book, I only played it because I am a boxing fan with almost no other options (Puch Out anyone???).
After play this game for a good 2 weeks i can say this is the worst out of the fight night series, punches are slow parry system is very bad, no professional boxer would be parried for 2 seconds.Special punches are ok but do way to much damgde so do the haymakers even though they are slow they do too much damadge. Did any of the makers even watch a real boxing match?Online is a joke most the players just turtle up and wait to parry which makes the game not fun at all, plus with the crappy servers EA has their is a 1-2 second delay on your actions.Worst boxing game ever? Did any boxing fan acctually like this game? IppotheFighterI wouldn't say it was the WORST boxing game ever. I mean, I liked it, I had fun playing it. It could have been improved on a lot, but to say it's teh worst ever? You must have never played a boxing game on Sega CD.
