Final Fantasy 7 freezing issues

has anybody who has downloaded the PS1 classics version of Final Fantasy 7 for the PSP been having freezing issues. Ever since I downloaded it I have to delete it and re-install it every couple of hours because it will refuse to load a certain screen or perform a certain battle command. First it was the scene after you blow up the first Mako Reactor, then one of the floors in Shinra Headquarters, then one of the caves during the Kalm flashback as well as one of Sephiroth's spell animations, right now I'm stuck right when you have to catch a chocobo to cross the marsh, I've deleted and re-downloaded the game twice now but it always freezes during Tifa's Limit Break animation and when I enter the cave after crossing the marsh. Has anyone else experienced any of these problems or is there possibly a patch out to fix it? any advice would be great

I havent had any problems at all and im pretty far in (hopefully my saying this wont curse my copy!). But becareful because you can only download the game 5 times...

hmm, I'm sure I've downloaded it then had to delete it and re-format my memory stick at least 6 or 7 times and it doesn't deny me the ability to download it again, I've been using MediaGo to download it straight to my PSP and it hasn't told me I have a limited number of downloads left.

happened to me 3 times and it glitched graphically MANY times (screen goes all techno colored)

but since i changed the DISK READ speed or w/e the options called back to normal it hasnt happened since

Not everyone has wifi... I know that's hard to believe in 2009, but folks might have hard-wired 'Net service only. Shoot, there are still fools usin' dial-up, i hear...

well I actually tried downloading straight from the store on my PSP but I kept getting errors, I checked online and people said to use MediaGo. thank you i-rock-socks, I noticed that my disc read speed was set to fast, I set it back to normal and haven't had any issues yet, hopefully it'll stay that way.

What's the point in increasing the disc read speed? What's that even mean? There are no discs involved!drummer131

I'm not sure, it was an option under settings when you press the home button during the game, I must have accidentally set it to fast when I was changing the screen size. Either way, it messed up my game for a while, so I don't like it.
