Final Fantasy Tactics!

Approximatley 1 to 2 days till the release of this game, i am so freakin excited to get it. 8) Never got to playing the ps1 version, ive wait patiently ever since i heard this game was coming to the psp. Anyway who else is getting this game?

does any one know if Cloud is still a secret character in the PSP version? cause novembers PSM has revealed that Baltheir of FF XII and the main character from Tactics Advance 2 r new secret characters. which is cool but i still want Cloud too.in2DarKneSs

i definatly am, i know that ill have a dark knight in my party, im so excited, i don't know how im going to set my party up, but i know ill have a dark knight, and white mage.

I saw it at a store a few days ago (i live in aus probably the first time we ever got a game early)

I was about to buy it then i realised i dont my psp till november :(

They better have made cloud better if hes in this new FFT, he was crap in the PS1 version of the game.. he starts at level 1, plus he can only use 1 weapon if you want to use his limit breaks... I spent so much time on leveling cloud up in hopes that he would eventually get good...all in vain.

Dont even bother with EB Gamestop I called 6 in my area all saying 10.10 and to come in and pre-order casuse they might get only like 5 copies, whatever.copperheadfang

Haha, at the Gamestop that I went to he got me to preorder it as well. I did, just because I was there and didn't care about paying a day early, but Gamestop is really all about preordering :P. (I was surprised that they were still accepting preorders even though the game was already on the way to the stores...)

yeah that what happens. in the u.s. we wait another day from the day it is released. that's what happened to me with dirge of ceberus

LISTEN DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! Cause if you do, you will get incredibly addictedand sucked into it, you will lose all your friends... and eventually your family... Lol jk, but it's incredible, get it as soon as possible.-_Cloud_-

Agreed lol, it's an amazing game, and the cutscenes in it look absolutely brilliant.

I live in Europe and i've already got it :D I also never played the PS1 version. It was well worth the wait though, what i've played so far of the game is amazing.Abgoj

i have the euro version too.. does yours have slowdown too when you cast spells?:( does anyone with the ntsc version can tell me if there is slowdown too on cast spells?:(

Yeah there is sometimes a little bit of slowdown when casting spells and using potions, but it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah there is sometimes a little bit of slowdown when casting spells and using potions, but it doesn't really bother me.

yeah it doesnt ... i love ff tactics :) clock in around 120 with the first one :P just weird though.. like holy knights etc dont do there lil chant before casting spells.. did they remove it? i kinda missed it even if the translation was messed up before... :P

Well lol, I never played the original, so everything in the game is brand new to me :D I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'm not sure just how many hours I've spent playing the original. (Look at my avatar and you'll see who my favorite character is) Well over a hundred, probably close to if not over 200 hours. I'm grabbing this game today and I can't wait to sink my teeth into the new translation. I probably won't play anything else for a month, depsite Castlevania and Star Wars BF coming out.

Anyone know if the Igros glitch still works. The one where if you equip a weak shield in your right hand and a rare sword in the left(like excalibur) on a knight with the two swords ability, and then go the igros shop and chose "best fit" it will put the rare sword in the rightand a rune blade in the left, but when you go to your equipment listing, you'll suddenly see a copy of the rare sword. (I.E. two excaliburs)

I think they probably fixed it, so multiplayer isn't broken by everyone useing a combination Excalibur/Chaos blade approach.
