"I" have a question actually, is it worth getting the guide if already have the old School Prima official guide for the PSX version? :D
I paged through it at best buy and I saw a few things that made me thing i might want it, as it seemed like some things were a little different (and of course the main reason i buy the guide since i could get most of the info on Gamefaqs, is that it has some nice art and is well put together).
can some one message me and tell me if that game it goodcamejodog5
eh your asking if the game is good im assuming. yeah its really good, if your new to the FFT/FTTA series it will be very overwhelming at the start, but youll pick up everything you need to learn with in the first 3 to 4 hours, with the help of various free guides on gamefaqs/gamespot. Overall though if you like strategy games, this is as good as it gets, good story, addicting gameplay, you won't be dissappointed.
i think for the most part, if your new to the game(ie. coming from playing FTTA) a strategy guided is very helpful, not absolutley needed of course but extremly help ful. i too was a huge FTTA fan, its way different, learning various jobs, skills etc. I would highly recommend buying a guide, but im just using the Gamespot faqs/tips so far. hockey73
text font too small.... can't see.... going blind.... eyes bleeding..... ahhhhh....
The game has a built in tutoral with lots of instruction and reading that explains just about everything. And besides that, there's always gamefaqs.com. I wouldn't waste money on a strategy guide.
Why bother buying a guide? If you need help, refer to the other website linked to this board called gamefaqs.com
There are only a few guides on there right now, but there will be more. Besides, play through the game once without help if possible to get your money's worth! :P
yea i don't think a guide is really vital but if you lack experience in tactical games then go right ahead, but like what other posts before me said, you can always go to gamefaqs.com for reference.
the game is amazing by the way
Buy the strat guide... this was my second RPG in all my life, and I remember that IT WAS HARD!
When I heard there was a PSP version I bought myself a PSP and start playing it again... for some reason I remember each fight of the game EACH ONE... and it was because the game was so hard the first time.
Anyway Ive Just finished the game yesterday again after all the years, and I breaze trough it... but at the same time, I couldntstop thinking how hard some fights are if you dont have the right "tactic".
Anyway... dont buy the stat guide, believe me, this is a game that you will be PROUD to finish on your own...
