Final fantasy xiii graphic has been downgraded?

to me, it looks duller than before.. what do u guys think?

Not trying to start a system war but they had to dumb down the graphics since it's being released on XBox as well.

have u ever thought of dvd vs. bluray? more dvds = more production time = cost more

I just checked the screens, and I think they were going to be like that regardless of it being ported to the 360.

And I don't understand how more DVDs = more production time. What are they producing? All they have to do is recode the game and then put it on the DVD. I'm sure the process is mroe complicated, but I'm not a developer so I wouldn't know.

Not surprised, if they are taking this long with the game there must be something wrong

u think... one machine cant reduce the time by producing more dvds.. when u go to production line, you should know that time really matters the cost of the production

Well yeah, it looks worse than teh pics before :S Well, I suppose it's just like back then with Killzone 2: Pics get faked just to hype Games, but the product we get in the end, will never reach what they promissed. I was very disappointed with a lot of the past SE games and I really hope that they finally start to create actually good Games again :S

Yeah, they did a lot with Killzone 2, but there was still the moment where it wa suncovered, that the pics we saw in the beginning were faked. I personally don't give much about graphics, but it's sad if companies fake pictures just to hype games :S

According to kotaku.com, they are taken from the demo you got with Advent Children Complete and to everyones knowledge, there is only a PS3 demo in it

Wow, the demo looks WAAAAAAAY more amazing than those pictures.

The first one is probably taken from Crystal Tools on PC, rather than PS3. They weren't able to accomplish quite the same graphical level on the PS3, but tbh I think it looks fine, especially in motion. And the lighting is better.

Don't care. Still looks good.

Still want the game. Can't wait to get it.

QFT. BTW, SE already said that the 360 version has no influence on the PS3 version. Why would the 360 team tell the PS3 team to downgrade the graphics? The lightning effects will be better on the PS3 version, Im sure.
