The PS3 is in the living room, so it's more of a shared thing. The first game we had was Turok, but I didn't play it all too much. The first game I really got into was Devil May Cry 4.
I held out 'till MSG4 came out and got the bundle pack cuz Metal Gear Solid is one of the most badass series ever created on any format and everyone must experience it before they die.

My first PS3 game was Uncharted, Motorstorm, Oblivion, Warhawk, Burnout Paradise, Ratchet & Clank, and Assassin's Creed. I bought these games the same day I bought my PS3. I wish I wouldn't have bought Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, and Burnout Paradise. I wish I would have rented Uncharted and Assassin's Creed and wish I would have just skipped Burnout all together.
I bought a 80gig with motorstorm and Rock Band two days after Xmas last year. I never even touched Motorstorm until after I had the expert drum career down (about 3/4 months later), and then I realised it was really fun. I then got GTA4 and MGS4, and thats all I have now...I have a lot of catching up to do.
Well I still have yet to find a PS3 game worth buying. I got the PS3 because of MGS4, so I got the bundle and I think I have rented most of the exclusive titles. uncharted drakes fortune & Heavenlly sword where good but not really worth buying. So the only game I own for the PS3 is MGS4.
Resistance Fall of man, because there wasnt much out and resistance was the best looking ps3 game. it still holds up now though, great game. second game was warhawk.
