I was thinking about getting this game for the PS3, but was wondering if the 30 FPS makes the game crappy and unplayable? Has anyone played it on the PS3 and found it just as good as the 360 version?

I have the game on the 360, but from viewing video comparisons between the two, the only difference I see is that the PS3 version is much brighter. Other than that, the 30 fps will not be a factor. Enjoy the game, it's a great one.

Does it being brighter make the game look bad on the PS3?

30 FPS is still better then a regular DVD. Thats like asking someone if they can tell a difference between 96khz and 48khz audio.

Does the gaem look just as good as the 360 version, or does it look worse?

Not necessarily...it might just mean that the 360 version is much darker. Anyway, I wouldn't be too concerned with it. If you don't have a 360 and are looking to get Madden, the PS3 version should suit you just fine. Both versions scored the same here on Gamespot so that should make you feel better.

I own both a PS3 and a 360.

Oh, well if you own a 360, then I'd definitely get it for that instead. That way, you would have the better version and wouldn't have to worry about anything else.

It's fine. There are some hitches, but those are pretty much all in menu navigation and none in gameplay. Online is a different story. It takes probably twice the time to pick plays because of lag. Possibly because the game just released and the servers are stocked full of gamers.
