Funniest thing you've heard someone say about the PS3

Not so  much PS3, but I heard this about the 360:

Friend: Did you hear about the 360 elite?

Me: Yeah it's alri-

Friend: Its got Blur ray cos Microsoft bought the rights off Sony! Yeah and it can play PS3 games! R.I.P PS3

Me: Er what have you been smoking?

Some guy had a gif in his sig that was two execs holding a PS3 as dollar bills flew into the disc drive, with a talk bubble that said "IT EATS MONEY."

I don't care what anyone else thinks, it made me laugh my ass off. :P

ps3 will produce movie like games (very skeptical)

ps3 will be able to support dual 1080p (true to prototype not to finalized version) 

PS3 is the most powerfull system (as a console most likely as a system pc blows it out of the water) 

"PS3 is bad for BluRay disc sales" - Then BluRay sales picked up after the PS3 launch soley cause of the PS3.

PS3 is unrivaled in graphical capabilites as it is the holy grail of consoles.. So advanced infact that its "4D". - Yet the PS3's grfx capablities have yet to surpass the competition's capabilites.. so far at least.

"There is no way PS3 can match the trailer for Killzone 2" - Stay tuned! It'll be interesting to see what happens with that :D

"Features that can only be done with the PS3 such as realtime weapon change" - yet my NES did that.

Most of the negative things I've heard were more pathetic than funny, so this is a tough one to decide. I guess someone saying that the PS controller copied the XBox one was pretty good.

P.S. Why is everyone quoting "bologna"? That's how its spelled. Possibly bologne as well, but certainly not "baloney".

Im a PS3 owner.. But I must admit I hear some rabid PS3 fanboys say some pretty outlandish things about the PS3 as well.  For example, Chad Warden always makes me laugh when "talkin bout tha PS-Tripple".

 

Just own all three consoles if you can.. enough of the fanboyism.

one funny thing i heard is that if you buy a Blu Ray game that it only work on one playstation because of the new technology it only work on one PS3 and you can't buy used games anymore.

oh yeah i remember that it was pretty serious. it was to stop pirating. they didnt do it cause they need blockbuster and hollywood video to sell games.

there are a couple Wii freaks where i work who swear that HiDef gamming is never going to catch on. they will argue to the end (with no facts of course) tha BD will fail as well as HD-DVDs and that HiDef TVs are not necessary. stupid people......Col_Swamp

They look oddly similar dont they? Not an exact match, but similar. 

A couple of things had me laughing one of which is the story about HMV ( uk games and music store ) had a small billboard outside advertising the playstation 3.......PLAYSTATION3 THE NEW BLUERAY PLAYER FROM SONY...and then at the very bottom in tiny writing it said..... also plays games!!!!

Next is from a pretty recent post about how this guy does'nt like any one touching his ps3...well i put a slighty different take on his story ..... well i thought it was funny....:  

                                                                the guy next door came into my house wondering what all the fuss was about with my new ps3...and he starts touching it and lifting it to feel how heavy it was and i SHOUTED:"" Get your hands off, we see something with our eyes, not with our hands!" my whole family looked at me in disgust.... i forgot he was blind!!..Lol

Well in 2013 when the PS4 comes out it'll begin all over again. You'll get posts like"Everyone knew BDs were the way to go. Nobody ever doubted that the PS3 was the superior machine, it was obvious... but the PS4 is different! It's too expensive for the technology it has, it's online isn't as great, it has no games, the new Blu-ray with 3 trig capacity is not needed for gaming and no campany has ever dominated 4 times in a row. Don't talk about the success of the PS3, this is a new gen and the PS4 is going to bomb on launch!

Well "one" of the craziest things that was said about the PS3 by various troll/fanbois was that it would cost  between $100 -$200 per month in your electric bill for your PS3 alone.

I have heard 360 fanboys say that Sony only released the ps3 in limited quaniteies and would only ship 50000 a month until November this year.

I have heard that GOW 3 will be 360 exclusive, and that it will cost 2 grand.

Online would be 100 dollars a year, and that it traded dvd playback for BLU Ray. I mean WTF does microsoft send subliminal messages through XBL.
