Future Ingame XMB Wishes...

wow you people need to stop asking for in game music, just get a friggin ipod/laptop and play music from that while turning your ps3 music off!!! it is essentially the same deal... it would be nice if you can play your own music in some games like GTA in the radio system or MGS4 with snakes ipod but besides that, if you play COD or something it will work just as well by playing from another music player, plus it won't overwork your ps3 hardware... but if my ps3 can cure cancer it would be very very nice... cuz I still haven't found a way to do it even without using my ps3...fruitkings

It's not that big a deal 2.4 was great, we're just wishing here, like: "Hey, wouldn't it be great if the PS3 had....." No ones complaining (at least not from what I've read) most of us understand that it's going to be awhile if ever before we get these features.

yeah I guess, but the problem can be easily solved if you just use another music player, im sure all those people that have ps3 xbox360 and wiis have an ipod too...

I would have really loved to have access to the XMB while playing a DVD or PS2 game.americahellyeah

Personally i would like the ability to switch users in game. I have two brothers i have to share the PS3 with, and its a hassle to have to exit the game, switch users, just to get back to the game my brother was playing. I was kind of let down with the 2.40 update, because i surely thought this feature would make it. Is anyone else letdown by something you thought sony should have implemented???

you have to be joking.... switch users??? when have you ever heard of that??? not even xbox has that..... lets say you are playing GTA4, how will your brother play his saved game on the ps3 if you have to re-start the game to reload a buch of different saved files...or online yea lets switch in the middle of a WARHAWK battle, you will have to exit the game a log in to the servers again, this feature sounds lame not possible.....sorry

Not possible??? I dont think so... All sony has to do, is once you switch users the ps3 just reloads all the gamesave stuff from the user you switched to's save files. It would just be like restarting the game, without having to watch the intro, go back to the XMB and all that jazz. Yes, i agree this wouldnt be possible online, which wouldn't bother me anyway because 75% of the time I am playing offline. I am pretty sure this is possible...
