FW. 3.0 Freezing Issue

Has anyone else noticed this problem? When playing Uncharted my game freezes at the exact same spot everytime. When I first started the game it ran smooth up until the point where you find your broken plane along with a bunch of pirates...

And I dont believe its the PS3 because I put in a few other games after which worked fine. I even played GTAIV after for about 4hours straight with no hiccup.

P.S. I also bought a new slim today, so Im not sure if its an issue only with the slim or not.

Mine froze after exiting the internet browser. Even tho holding down the PS button on my remote still worked to get into the system shutdown screen.cheezy909

I have a40GB PS3 and in chapter 6 I experience framerate drops and screen tearing.

I didn't update my Slim yet - I'll just stay offline for awhile then :(

No my slim had 2.80 I believe

And Uncharted was working well with 2.80

My PS3 freezes on the same exact spot as you. Has to be the latest frimware.

I have the same exact problem, i just bought the PS3 slim brand new. looks like we have to wait.

chapter 4 for me. weird how only uncharted is effected

think its the new update cuz my slim was working fine wit uncharted til it install 3.0 a patch should fix it up

I'm very lucky, I've just finished Uncharted yesterday without any big problem, though it only frozeon me once. (I played it on slim)

Well I got that with DW 6: empires... it was not however at the same time... very random and seemingly the faster I retry, the faster it freezes (actually froze at one point on the KOEI Logo section) It also froze for NHL 09 on the black screen prior to EA logo... but I could start a blue ray and ff-XII in that same time frame with no visible issues... but I didn't stay long in either to be sure at 100%

I also got some difficulties with my Dual Shock 3 controller the night before I started to get those repeated freezes... all occurred last weekend only a few days after I've updated to firmware 3

i feel sorry for you guys , not only that 3.0 is ugly as hell , its even broken , all the problem reports ensure me it was the right decision to disable online to avoid 3.0.
