Im bad a FPS. And I know that. I get smoked online every time I try.
Oddley thow I was decent back in the mouse and keyboard days. When FPS were kinda a new thing.
But online is different. Even if you play a game a tun, you have to learn to play it to whatever is needed for online. And the only way you get better, and learn the maps and get faster, is via getting killed over and over. And eventually you get better.

Team Fortress 2. I was crusin when I first started playing. once I achieved a rank, I was placed in a class of people as good as myself, and now I get burned by flame throwers and cut by spies all the time....
GT5P, not in terms of racing. But the times recorded online... some of those guys are freaking amazing. They managed to shave 1-2 seconds off my own best time. Incredible.
UT:3, had no real problems in campaign mode, even at the moderate level....played one or two games online and never stood a chance.FM82

I'm a huge Unreal fan, I haven't played Unreal Tournament since the Dreamcast days. Played campaign for a little bit, then jumped online....boy, I got creamed soooo bad.
Plus it's a big change from Call of Duty 4 to face action Unreal Tournament.
I'll smoke the CPU...but my little brother always seems to find a way to beat me whether it's 4 3rd period goals in NHLor a kick-off return for a touchdown with no time left in Madden.
i rock at everything, except Virtua Fighter, i get pwned on normal on that game. yet i can play Soul Calibur on extreme, pretty dam good. VF AI is cheap imo.
I suck at any and every fighting game out there. Somehow my brain can't process the concept of button combination. I learn the combo, practice it, but when I'm fighting, I ALWAYSscrew it up. It's not even funny, even the non fighting games where you have to do a combo I can't do it properly.
In the other hand, I'm quite good at FPS games and did pretty well with Resistance online.
I'm usually a little better than average when I play online. I play way too many games to own at one specific game, but I can usually hold my own. I'd probably get owned in RTS though because that genre of games just isn't for me.
i jus copped nba homecourt... i know im late... haha... but yeah, i was hella good at the 1st 3... and thought it would apply, but like i started out on the others, i hellla suckk... hella new moves and they altered the button config a bit :P
definitely COD4, i thought i was a beast until i got online. i also thought i was godly in halo 2 back in my xbox days until i got to college and got smoked like a sausage. on a side not who is that girl in your sig istylee? i want to wife her, or digitally stalk her... google style.....giggdy giggdy goo!
I used to suck at COD4 online, but now I rank in the top 3 of the matches 90% of the time... I do suck at RFOM online and Warhawk.... I just get my ass whooped.... how do these guys do it?
Hands down COD 4. I'm OK on most shooters (SOCOM, Ghost Recon, RSV, etc.) & Other games (Madden, Tiger), but I totally s--k on COD. My K/D ratio is like 1:5. I've gotten worse w/ practice. Oh well :C
I'm terrible in Warhawk, my least liked game at the moment.But yet I don't wanna give up on it. I'm usually on the top 4 in CoD 4 about 85% of the time. I barely ever have more deaths then kills. RDoM is a toss-up, I have "good" days and "bad." I think I'm pretty good at Guitar Hero games, but still can't beat One, Raining Blood, or TTFAF on expert.
I thought I was good at GH3 because I could 5star One and Devil Went Down to Georgia on Medium difficulty, however I suck so terribly bad at hard and expert lol.
i used to be boss on Resistance online. back in my prime.
i booted it up the other week and, oh my lanta, i didnt stand a chance. 3 v 3 and i got like 4 kills, and had like 12 deaths. i got so mad i just turned the game off.

the highest i have ever gotten on there for a ranking in a day is 2nd but that was when i only had 3 PS3 games and played that quite a bit. but im not to good at COD4 but im gettting better
I'm pretty horrible at any online game. It takes me so long to get good, but right when I get good, I stop playing! :P Maybe if I could play Tekken online...
