Which ones is the question? I know the PS3 will pay off eventually but I'm bored and I want to know what games are looking promising, what games look to have a lot of potential and what games are you guys most looking forward to? The PS2 was full of great games; apart from the obvious as in the MGSs and the FFs and so on, we had games like Okami, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, and other games worth mentioning. On top of this, the MGSs and FFs and GTAs didn't only not disappoint but really made a hell of an impact. So, if the same holds true for the PS3, then we can expect great games from Kojima Productions, Square Enix, Capcom and Rockstar...but as awesome as those developers are, I'm more excited for the surprise titles we get along the way. Sorry for babbling on forever, but what do you guys expect on the PS3? which developers do you think will wow you? and, what game look promising to you right now?
I actually have Oblivion for the 360 but I need an excuse to play it again and maybe with the little performance upgrade it'll get for the PS3 and the extra content its excuse enough; I'll be buying it for the PS3 too so that's another one I'm looking forward to. Wonder if Seeds (Clover Studio) will give us another Okami esque game, that would be awesome.

So Oblivon is really good? Thats good I really want it but all of my friends that own a 360 arent big gamers and only play sports games. I can never get a good game suggestion from anyone.
Well theirs really no shortage of new IP's for the PS3. Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Lair, White Knight Story, La Noir, and 8 Days. And these are all new property's that will be out this year or early 08. I'm actually more excited for all the new franchises coming out but don't get me wrong I still want alot of the established franchises as well.

Yea Oblivion is a good game and its huuugggeee...but, it can be bland at times when running in the wild although they do a decent job making the game lively...and it just looks insanely good.
Devil May Cry 4 is looking to be the most anticipated game for me, I am also looking forward to Gran Turismo 5, Lair(I like how you use the SIXAXIS in this game), Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavenly Sword, and I'll be looking forward to future titles like God of War 3, and a new Jak and Daxter game, I'd also like a new Sly Cooper, and Dark Cloud game. Tekken 6 is looking like it's going to be a great fighting game, and I'll be picking up Virtua Fighter 5 tomoroww, and MotorStorm in March.
The thing is, most of those games were released 2003 and on. It takes two years or so for great games to start coming. There are only a few coming out in the near future, but soon there will be a lot more.
MGS, FFXIII, Heavenly Sword, Assasins Creed, Motorstorm, Lair, Army of Two, sequel to Shadow of the Colossus( confirmed, but i have no link lol), Resistance sequel(confirmed), Virtua Fighter 4, umm. These are just some to mention.
