Whats with the increasing prices with games? The way the economy is right now, shouldn't prices be coming down or do games not factor in with the topic of money and budgets? How do developers choose a selling point. Should reviewers ratings factor in on price? A great game like Kill Zone 2 priced at $59; getting great reviews across the board and a not so great game like Afro Samurai priced at $69; getting hit pretty hard by some not so great reviews. Should the length of a game factor in on price or just game play? A lot of games now have DLC. The new Street Fighter for example costs $69 and change. You have to pay just to get alternate costumes? Come on people. I won't even talk about Little Big Planet.
Who's with me and who's against me. Let me know.

If I may: not only are WE going through tough economic times but, so is the VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY. We pay bills like rent and such. Well, they do the same. Not to mention paying all the employees. Granted, so games are NOT worth the price of admission (Afro Samurai at $69 is highway robbery) but, there is an audience for such (enter descriptive word of your choice here) and game companies KNOW it!. That is why we are up to Dynasty Warriors 6 (PS3)
also, don't forget that the DLC is OPTIONAL not a REQUIREMENT. As for Little Big Planet you say you don't want to pay alot of money for games right? well, in this game you can design your own levels and play other levels that hundreds if not thousands of people have made. In short you're basically paying $60.00 for a game that keeps on giving! you don't have to buy Little Big Planet costumes because the game already has an array of costumes that you unlock as you play the game. Don't despair there are alot of games that are worth the money charged (Resident Evil 5 is one of them) and hopefully when the economy gets better the prices will too. EXTRA: watch out for GREATEST HITS TITLES!
