Games similar to Contra (NES)

Greetings friends!

Can anyone recommend a good game similar to Contra for the NES? I love the challenge of the goold old Contra, the powerups, platforming etc. So if anyone got a recommendation i'll give my gratitude.

Contra: Shattered Soldier

It can be purchased on PSN store in the Classics.

Uprising: Hard Corps is the exact spitting image of Contra (better graphics of course) It handles like Contra, 2 players like contra and only $15.

@BH14: Can't find Contra on the EU PSN store :( Only Neo Contra for the VITA.
