It also depends what you guys mean by "kid". Sure, I think there are plenty of 14 year olds that are mature enough to play mature games. But 5 year olds? Not so much. At least I've never known one that I feel would be able to handle them well.
If their parents want to buy them mature games, then so be it, but I just don't think that most young children should be playing mature rated games (at least the ones that actually deserve their rating).
Like a few people mentioned earlier, in the online multiplayer I am on a mic and speak freely. I know there are probably kids under 12 listening but it's not like I stop to think of how to clean up my language. Like MonkeySpot said earlier, it's not my problem if your kids start to copy what I say. I have had a parent get upset with me due to my language saying that his son is on the game. My only response is to say that your son has no business being on this game. Do you let your son watch porn? I would hope not. It is not designed for his age.
