games with great/surprising endings

So I just got done Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and wow, I did not see that ending coming. I won't give anything away, but I will say that after playing through it all it definitely is not a game that should be missed (especially now that it's pretty cheap, I got it new for $13).

Other than that, the ending of Demon's Souls was very cool/atmospheric (though the whole game had a pretty interesting atmosphere to it).

What games have had endings that have really been great that you've played?

So many, probably the most surprising to me was Metal Gear Solid 4, I didnt see that one coming.

Others, well Alan Wake was one as it left you confused and surprised at the same time.

Infamous

mass effect 2 , i was suprised that it ended so quickly just after i put my crew together

uncharted or bioshock
great storylines overall

Infamous. i would have never guessed that ending.

I think that Prince of Persia (cel-shaded one) had one of the best endings I have seen in a long time
