GameStop: PS3 Digital Downloads

I am thinking on buying a game and its says on Gamestop.com you can download this game digitally.

How does that work for the PS3 is it in the PSN store?

I think it might just mean Gamestop do the game for PC on their digital download service. Gamestop wouldn't advertise the game being available for DD on PSN unless they get a cut, which they don't.

I downloaded psn cards and ps3 games that were bought from gamestop online. They give you a code after you buy it and then you use it on psn. Simple as that.
