I used to think that way until GeOW came out on PC and blew chunks, it looked great but had way too many bugs to be enjoyable (for me at least). The stuttering in that game was ridiculous and was rather wide spread among PC gamers any many setups that exceeded the recommended requirements (myself included).

Really thats too bad I computer ran it fine with out any lag issues.
Whilst Microsoft only hold publishing rights for 2 GeoW games (i.e. GeoW and Geow2) I can't see them relinquishing their rights when it comes time to renew, and even if they did, Cliffy B is just a big enough tool to say GeoW 3 will be exclusive to the iPhone or some crap. It's not like a 360 is expensive these days, if you wanna play Gears get a 360 or enjoy the great games we have for PS3.

Lmfao guys...he's being serious and so am I. GeoW is a possibility Sony even talked about back at GDC saying how GeoW 3 would be great on a blu-ray. And this is a possibility. M$ only has a 2 game deal with Microsoft for GeoW franchise so the third one could be multiplat.

honestly as an owner of 360. It should'nt be on PS3 that's a way to ruin a great game, the controller is different with no triggers. And if microsoft and epic only got a 2 game deal what makes you think MS won't make another deal with them? They would definitely take it to cuz MS will pay a lot.
If you want to play Gears of War you're going to have to buy an Xbox 360 or a great PC.
The only time I've ever heard Sony talk about Gears of War 3 being on Blu-ray was when they were talking about working with Microsoft to make a Blu-ray equipped Xbox 360.

I will agree that Halo is overated, but I really don't think Gears is overrated. Gears is an amazing game that lived up to the hype , specifically the multiplayer is it's best portion. Allot of games now are copying the cover system used in the game. The graphics are amazing, the animations look insane, the blood and gorefactor are over-the-top in a good way, overall the game is just amazing all in all. The only ones that hate on Gears of War and call it "overrated" are the ones who cry about being chainsawed and shotgunned to death! Some people just can't give a good game it's props.
