How many of you guys that are getting a ps4 are now going to buy a vita because of the features available when you hook up vita to ps4? I think its good that sony is pushing this, becuase I have the feeling the vita couldnt survive by itself. Love the vita though.

If I do manage to save up some cash, then I will. PS4 games will be my priority. Remember that there will be an updated version of Vita comming out, so it's best to wait.

The PS Vita is a good device and I would love to play the PS games remotely on the go. However, in order to do that you must get the wireless version in which there is a bill to be paid. I don't know the full details about who is the carrier, but that aspect is a huge turnoff. If it could apply some way to your cable/internet bill, then that wouldn't be so bad in my book, even if it were just a slight monthly increase. Anything beyond that doesn't interest me.

I think you are confusing wireless and 3G. 3G requires a monthly subscription (from AT&T I think) but wireless can connect to any wireless network that you have access to.

As far as getting a Vita, personally I'm going to hold off until I see that the features they are claiming will exist actually do and work well. I do like the idea of being able to play PS4 games through WiFi though.

You really think there will be a updated vita version any time soon? Personally doubt it, but I could be wrong.

I got a Vita for the portability of games while I travel. Zero Escape, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and more. There is actually a lot of great content on the Vita and with PS Plus, a lot of those games I listed are free to download and play instantly. Cross Save and Cross play with PS Allstars is amazing, as well as with Sly 4 and Sound Shapes.

Same here, I think it's better to wait and see. If they're doing it right and manage to give you streamed PS4 games on the go, anywhere you got wifi... then count me in Sony!!

If there is an abundance of titles supporting the feature, then I might think about it. I'm already saving up for a PS4, not sure if I want to spend my entertainment allowance on a Vita when, by the time I've got the cash, there should be dozens of games to be played on the home console. I haven't had a handheld since my Game Gear, so it's not essential to my day to day living.

I'm much more interested in building my HTPC and upgrading my TV so that I can enjoy HD gaming on a screen bigger than 24in. Money is tight, got to say no to wants and worry about the necessities.

I already have planned on getting a Vita this year. The crossplay is just icing on top of it.

Planning on  buying a Vita 100% sure, PS4 did help out my decision. Just waiting for them to have a great Bundle in game that I like (Like Killzone Mercenaries or something else that appeals to me, would be great) or  have a price drop to there memory Card. I want a 32GB.

The Vita stinks, and the PS4 is shaping up to suck too... So, neither. Both platforms have gone in a bad direction - The PS4 MAY pull out of it's tailspin, but I highly doubt it. A 'Share' button on the controller for social network BS was the final nail in the coffin for me. Sony cares far too much about online integration for me to care about buying one... And screw social networking. the graphics don't look like a vast improvement, and the games would need to be much, much, MUCH better than what I've seen on the PS3 - Which, they won't - Just more players in online MP... The whole thing is a shameless grab for your money and every minute of your free time.

"Never Stop Playing" sounds like a corner crack dealer - "Smoke 24/7, You Addicts". If they keep you high and pacified, you'll neglect everything else life has to offer, keeping the cash rolling in for the dealer (Sony). I'm a firm believer in putting the controller DOWN, for weeks at a time. Habitual behaviors are dangerous.

No Thanks.

I already have a Vita, but I'm doubtful the remote play will work as they say ; in my town (France, 400000+ residents), has extremely few Wifi hotspots (only 2 that I know of ; there are lots of hotels with hotspots but you have to be a client to have the code) so it would mean that I go to these places on purpose to play my Vita to play PS4 games from the cloud. 4G won't be able to be used for PS4 cloud gaming.

So I think it will stay a good idea but too limited by technology of the internet and the too few "free" hotspots.

I bought PS Vita for Vita games, I will wait and see what the portable system can do with the PS4, it sounds like a nice addition but time will tell.

I purchased a Vita on launch day mainly for MLB the Show 12 but after 6 months I had it up for auction on Ebay.  I realized that I'm not a hand held gamer and it saddens me that it took a lot of money to do so.  I'm really looking forward to the PS4 but I'm going to wait a while to see how the launch goes.

I got a PSV because i wanted to play unique games that are made for the handheld. Not some canned ports that i can play on my main console. It's sad to see people buying a Vita cuz of this.

Waiting on a price drop, more games, and a revision of the system.

So I guess you will just stay in the past. Durango will be the same or worse.

Maybe. I have never owned a handheld before so it would take a lot to convince me to buy one. A price point below $200 would be a great start.
