WHY the hell would this thread be locked beyond BIAS? The title says God of War 2 to run 720p on PS3. Why would it get locked? im buying GOW 2 for my PS3. Halo was all over Xbox 360 forums...why would GS flip on the Bias for God of War 2 on PS3 forums when PS3 has full fledged BC for it? Go Away trolls.
Does anyone know if the game will even look good on the ps3? I don't want an old school game(grapics wise)Â that looks old(graphic wise)Â on my new ps3.
Im starting to wonder how they got it to run at 720p. Only way I can think of is the PS3 emulation software has some calls for it which the PS2 ignores but the PS3 doesnt. If so.... could be interesting.
I thought that the released GoW2 pictures were doctored due to the too high resolution but apparently it was PS3 shots which is nice. I hope that they also have added extra AA to the game when running on PS3. Now the big question is, will the PS3 emulate PS2 hardware through software or will it run GoW2 on its built in PS2 hardware.

Um, since he's talking about the fact that this game is running in 720p on the PS3, this thread will not get locked. Learn the rules before acting like you know what will or won't get locked, it's pretty annoying.
The texture detail is low on PS2, if they do 720p on PS3 its going to look poor ???. But if they did some texture work it might work, but I cant see them spending so much time to improve the texture just so it can run in 720p???...
