I was playing the God of War demo on the PSP and it was really good and was the first God of War game I played. So I was wondering if I should buy God of War 1 and 2. I saw that 2 has no problems playing on a 80g PS3. But 1 has some problems. So does any one with 1 have any major problems with it? Also how are the graphics because most of my PS2 and PS1 games look bad of my HDTV. Thanks

I don't know if there is slowdown but get God of War 1 and 2. They are too good to pass up, like what PerfectlyDark said.

yeah that sounds like a great deal, i know god of war 2 has a high def code/cheat, snoop around for it on gamefaqs.

i played gow 2 without knowing about the code and it looked pretty crummy even after smoothing but it didn't take away from the experience, god of war is an awesome game regardless

They're a must for any playstation owner. You should get them. Both games worked fine on my ps3 (60gig). They look good too.

I honestly don't know but isn't there a feature on the 80 gig to smooth out the gameplay and graphics?

yeah there is, and these people telling you that the game looks good on hdtv are seriously exagerrating, the cinematics in god of war 2 look great cause it is hi def (480p) but even with smoothing the game doesn't look that good, nor should it, they're games formatted for 4:3 tvs and were not optomized for hi definition televisions. i haven't tried the hi def code for GOW 2 so tell me how that turns out

After hearing about how "OMFG-AMAZING" the God of War franchise was, I played it and was generally not as impressed as I thought I woud be. It's definately a great game with non-stop action which belongs in any collection.
