[QUOTE="danneswegman"][QUOTE="G-Legend"]Yeah. It will probably look worse if it is designed for 1080P since it requireire much more[QUOTE="horgen123"][QUOTE="danneswegman"]just keep it at 720P and make it as good as they can.... all this nonsensejbot666
That's not true. Just because the resolution is higher doesn't mean they have to sacrifice graphics. Just look at LAIR 1080p and the graphics in that game are stunning. Although for a game like this I would prefer 720p, but they can do it well in 1080p as well.
1080P requires alomst double the processing power. In most cases, in games where there is much going on on screen, 1080P will have developers tune down textures, framerate, etc. most developers will say that 720P is the hotspot. Most people get excited like little kids when they here a game will be in 1080p. Just because it is more than 720P.... most gamers don't even have a screen that displays it..... we'll still have to wait and see what Lair delivers when it comes out....PS3 cas surely handle double the processing power of 1080p Let me tell you I aint no kid I have a 40" 1080p Sony Bravia which can upconvert 720p graphics to 1080i anyway so its not a big deal to me if you want to insist on 720p as the standard cause the graphics and rez still pop. But let me tell you the "hotspot" for gaming is definately 1080p I notice the difference between my games running at 720p / 1080i and 1080p is smooth as silk and just blow me away its insane.
nope.. 720P is the hotspot now. Sure, if games can run perfectly in 1080Pthat i would be all for it, but most games that do are "simple" games were not much is going on (2 fighters, 2 tennis players) and the other 1080P games look worse than 720P 360 games... Don't upconvert 720P games to 1080i. 720P is much better for games. i'd like perfectly looking games at 1080P, ofcourse..but lsten to developers ike team ninja, don't tkae my word for it, 720P is the hotspot for NOW.
